What Is A Sacred, Mindful Space?
Creating a sacred space is about dedicating a specific area to rejuvenating your spirit, somewhere away from distractions, where you feel comfortable just being you. A beautiful cushion to sit on, objects that evoke feelings of love and gratitude, a cheerful bouquet of freshly cut flowers are cues as you enter that it is time to renew.
You will sense the energy there as you return each day to this intentional space to meditate, pray, or do other healing work that speaks to you. The energy surrounding you is created by the loving stillness within you. Taking time to practice conscious gratitude, to connect with yourself and your breath becomes a welcome ritual.
No matter how much time you spend there, consistency is helpful. Try and visit your sacred space at the same time of day. Create rituals that speak to your heart. Perhaps light a candle or say something affirming to yourself and just BE.
